Punjab State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab has released the PSTET Notification 2026 for the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test. The test is conducted for candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes 1–5 (Paper 1) and Classes 6–8 (Paper 2) in Punjab government and aided schools.
The online application process has started from 06 February 2026 and the last date to apply is 20 February 2026. The examination will be conducted in offline OMR-based mode on 15 March 2026.

E1) Educational Qualification
For Paper 1 (Class 1–5):
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed or equivalent
OR - Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed
OR - Graduation with B.Ed (as allowed in official notification)
For Paper 2 (Class 6–8):
- Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed
OR - Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed
OR - 4-year integrated B.El.Ed / B.A.B.Ed / B.Sc.B.Ed
