Candidates often lose marks in Part C because it focuses on analytical and application-based questions rather than direct factual recall. Strong conceptual clarity and regular practice of previous-year papers are essential.
Life Sciences and Chemical Sciences traditionally attract the highest number of applicants, making competition particularly intense. Candidates should allocate substantial preparation time to subject-specific numerical problems, scientific reasoning and advanced conceptual topics.
Regular revision of scientific fundamentals, research-oriented concepts and analytical problem-solving techniques can significantly improve performance.
