IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Important Dates

IOB Apprentice Vacancy 2026

A total of 750 Apprentice vacancies have been announced across various States and Union Territories.

IOB Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions.

Educational Qualification

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.
• The graduation result must have been declared on or before 31 July 2026.
• Candidates who have completed one year or more of work experience or apprenticeship training after graduation are not eligible.

IOB Apprentice Age Limit 2026

Age will be calculated as on 01 July 2026.

Candidates should be born between 01 July 1998 and 01 July 2006 (both dates inclusive) for the General/EWS category.

Age Relaxation

Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines.

IOB Apprentice Application Fee 2026

The application fee must be paid online through the BEEP portal between 07 July and 22 July 2026. The fee is non-refundable.

IOB Apprentice Selection Process 2026

The selection process consists of the following stages:

1. Online Written Examination
2. Local Language Test
3. Document Verification
4. Medical Fitness Examination

Candidates qualifying the online examination will be called for the local language test and document verification. Those who have studied the specified local language in Class 10 or Class 12 are exempted from the language test.

IOB Apprentice Exam Pattern 2026

Exam Duration: 90 Minutes

The examination will be conducted in online mode, and candidates are required to use a front camera-enabled desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

IOB Apprentice Stipend 2026

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend based on the location of the branch.

The Government's stipend share will be credited directly to the apprentice's bank account through DBT wherever applicable. Apprentices are not entitled to additional allowances or employee benefits.

How to Apply for IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Candidates can apply by following these steps:

1. Register on the NATS or NAPS portal.
2. Visit the BFSI SSC/BEEP application portal.
3. Complete the online registration.
4. Enter the NATS/NAPS enrollment number.
5. Fill in personal and educational details.
6. Upload the required documents.
7. Pay the application fee online.
8. Submit the application form.
9. Download and save the confirmation page.

Important Instructions

• Apprenticeship duration is one year.
• Candidates can apply for only one State/UT.
• Candidates who have previously completed apprenticeship training or possess one year or more of post-graduation work experience are not eligible.
• Apprentices are not considered permanent employees of the Bank.
• There is no guarantee of regular employment after completion of apprenticeship training.
• Selected apprentices are entitled to 12 days of casual leave during the training period.
