HP Home Guard Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill educational and age criteria as on 01 January 2026.

Educational Qualification

• General Duty (Men/Women): 10+2 from recognized board
• Bandmen: 10+2 from recognized board
• Drivers: 10th or 10+2 with valid driving licence
• Technical Tradesmen: 10th + ITI in relevant trade
• Armourer (if applicable): Released Armed/Paramilitary personnel with Armourer course

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 50 years
• Age relaxation applicable as per HP Government rules

• Long Jump: 3 metres
• 800m Run: 3 min 50 sec
• 100m Run: 18 sec

Mathematics is of 10th standard, Hindi & English of 12th standard, and GK focuses on Himachal Pradesh.
