EdCIL Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Occupational Therapist Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution.
• Valid registration or licence to practise as an Occupational Therapist in India.
• Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and patient-centred approach.
• Relevant experience will provide added advantage.

Physiotherapist Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution.
• Valid professional registration or licence.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Relevant experience will provide added advantage.

Psychologist Eligibility

• M.A. or M.Sc in Psychology from a recognised university.
• Clinical, Counselling, or Developmental Psychology specialisation is preferred.
• Experience in psychological assessments and behavioural therapies is required.
• Strong counselling and interpersonal skills are expected.

Speech Therapist Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is mandatory.
• Experience with children having Autism and developmental disorders is preferred.
• Proficiency in Telugu and English is required.

Clinical Psychologist Eligibility

• Post Graduation in Clinical Psychology from an RCI-recognised institution.
• Valid RCI registration is mandatory.
• Expertise in psychological assessments and behavioural therapies is required.
• Proficiency in Telugu is an added advantage.

Special Educator Secondary Level Eligibility

Candidates must possess any one RCI-recognised qualification with valid CRR number:

• Bachelor’s Degree with B.Ed. Special Education, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with B.Ed. General plus one-year Diploma in Autism / Intellectual Disability, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with B.Ed. General plus D.Ed. in Autism / Intellectual Disability.

AP TET Paper-2B or CTET in Special Education is mandatory.

Special Educator Primary Level Eligibility

• Intermediate or 10+2 from a recognised board.
• Two-year Diploma in Special Education in Autism / Intellectual Disability recognised by RCI.
• Valid CRR number is mandatory.
• AP TET Paper-1B or CTET in Special Education is mandatory.

PMU Consultant Eligibility

• Ph.D. or M.Phil in Clinical Psychology, Psychology, or Special Education.
• Ph.D. in rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities is desirable.
• Report writing expertise and strong communication skills are mandatory.
